The Band Celtic Keep

The music is both Scottish and Irish folk music as well as traditional bagpipe tunes.  We are a little on the progressive side, not quite pure folk in our sound and at the pubs we focus on pub music and drinking songs. 

 The influences come from such bands as The Bothy Band, The Tannahill Weavers and Wolfstone. 

The Tannahill Weavers are a good mix of progressive folk with a strong base in the the traditional songs.  The Wolfstone influence is Celtic Rock and in time we may move to a Celtic Rock format, however for now progressive folk is a good place to be.
